This commitment led us to invest in the Manti 3 Plus Drone Parachute for the DJI Mavic series, a product we believed would significantly enhance our drone safety.
Initially, the Manti 3 Plus seemed to be a perfect addition, meeting our strict safety requirements for SFOC operations. However, our experience took a turn earlier this year when we learned that the parachute system had lost its certification from Transport Canada due to the manufacturer’s failure to submit the required compliance paperwork and safety declarations.
Compounding this issue, our attempts to resolve these concerns with the manufacturer have been frustrating. The manufacturer has been difficult to get a hold of, providing limited responses to our inquiries. Additionally, there appears to be a concerted effort to remove negative reviews from their product page, which raises concerns about transparency and reliability.
Given these challenges, and the potential risk to our operations, we decided to proactively discontinue the use of the Manti 3 Plus Drone Parachute. We want to ensure our clients and partners that this decision reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
